Description

GLU-NAC PLUS™ provides powerful antioxidants, supports detoxification, fights inflammation, and builds the body’s natural defenses.

GLU-NAC PLUS™ contains 250 mg of reduced glutathione, 250 mg of n-acetyl-l-cysteine (NAC), 100 mg of alpha lipoic acid, and 20 mcg of selenium per capsule.

Glutathione and NAC (a major precursor of glutathione) provide important protection against toxins and free radicals, and strengthen the immune system.

Glutathione is considered the most powerful and versatile of the body’s self-generated antioxidants.

N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine (NAC) is the rate-limiting amino acid for the production of glutathione within the cells of the body; it has mucolytic properties, and is a powerful antioxidant and detoxifier.

Alpha-Lipoic Acid is a potent fat-soluble and water-soluble antioxidant with important metabolic and detoxification properties.

Organically bound selenium from l-selenomethionine is an important trace mineral for function of the antioxidant enzyme glutathione peroxidase protecting against free radical damage, especially in cell membranes. In this role, it supports and protects immune function, and plays a role in the development and function of white blood cells.
